Meet our TEAM
::: Deborah Gill-Hesselgrave ::: Usability + Writing
Deborah brings her background in learning theory, readability,
and audience analysis to the Innowebtive team. Since leaving the
classroom, Deborah has been an editor and product manager for major
e-learning companies. In the mid-90's, while serving in senior management
positions, she used her user-centric design skills to develop web-based
products for companies in the insurance, law enforcement, real estate,
and retail industries. As a self-proclaimed Luddite, Deborah believes
that technology should support people’s success without adding
to their already over-burdened lives. In addition to collaborating
as a usability specialist and technical writer with Innowebtive,
Deborah is in the midst of co-authoring a book on usability principles.
In her spare time, Deborah provides management-consulting services
to organizations such as Neighborhood House Association and the
San Diego Fire Department.
Deborah is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley
with a B.A. in Psychology.
